【市場更新】
1. 在預期政府紓困方案將在本週五通過的樂觀氣氛下，3月24日S&P 500上漲9.38%，創下有史以來第10大單日漲幅。以下是S&P 500創單日最大漲幅之後的表現：
2. 聯準會主席Jerome Powell坦言美國可能已進入經濟衰退，但強調聯準會將採取前所未見的手段確保疫情受到控制後經濟活動能迅速恢復。
3. 美國首次申請失業救濟人口超過3百萬，加州每日申請超過100,000人，工時受影響的勞工多達7千萬人…
4. 也許是考量之後可能發生的社會問題，槍彈的銷售量快速上升。
5. 3個月美國國庫券利率創新低‐0.04%。
6. 石油價格戰新局面，需求依然受全球景氣影響，但供給無法持續上升：
• 不是所有OPEC國家都有能力繼續擴大產出。
• 俄羅斯的石油公司也擔心疫情對需求的影響，不願繼續增產。
• 煉油廠也已接近飽和，無法繼續儲存低價原油。
• 美國將持續施壓沙特阿拉伯。
7. 部分分析師認為本次疫情衝擊的運輸、零售及觀光旅遊業雖然就業人口眾多，但對GDP及獲利的貢獻都比不上2007年的金融業，所以即使有經濟衰退也不會像08年那麼嚴重。
• 這當然是眾人的期望，但以08年的經驗，除非知道骨牌如何配置(i.e.知道每個經濟個體對衝擊的反應)，否則只能等骨牌倒的差不多了才能準確的預估骨牌效應，還是必須謹慎。
• 另一個要注意的是這個預期建立在經濟活動能迅速回復常態的前提，疫苗及治療方法何時能投入使用值得關注。
【疫情更新】
1. 截至星期五上午，全球共有553,353病例、25,115人死亡。
2. 美國確診人數超越中國。
3. 美國目前已有23州宣布stay at home，全國過半數的人口受影響。
4. 依之前美國確診人數趨勢，未來幾天死亡人數恐大幅增加，若成為新聞焦點，可能引起更大的恐慌，但這波死亡潮是約20天前被感染的病例造成，著眼未來，關鍵依然在於未來確診成長速度是否趨緩。
5. 川普總統考慮在復活節前解除禁令以復甦經濟
(A) 以經濟角度可以理解：
• 超過20%的中小企業在停業一個月的情況下將結束營業。
• 超過50%的勞工只要跳過二次發薪日就沒有現金支應必要開銷。
(B) 幾個需克服的問題:
• 目前大部分禁令來自州政府，總統是否有權限尚待釐清。
• 絕大部分的經濟傷害是由恐懼造成，「如果」死亡人數因解除禁令繼續上升，對人民的恐懼沒有幫助。
• 其他國家未必能配合美國恢復交易常態。
• 如果造成第二波流行，反而延緩經濟復甦。(1918年感冒造成的經濟衰退在1919年3月結束，為期僅七個月，當月的第二波流行雖然沒有造成第二次經濟衰退，但依然造成大量人口死亡)

1. 在聯準會諸多前所未見的救市措施及無限量量化寬鬆政策下，聯準會資產達到創記錄的$5.3兆美元。
政府救市：
2. 眾議院在星期五通過$2兆的救市方案，佔GDP約9%。
(A) 其中約$1兆是貸款予企業以及州及地方政府，在被倒帳前不會影響政府赤字。
(B) 剩下約$1兆的紓困方案將直接增加政府赤字。
